Chris’s history with Stantec starts with a denim jacket. Yes, really. While at a career fair in college, he won a denim jacket at the Stantec booth and after sneaking his resume into a thank you letter, he was invited to join the internship program. 17 years later, Chris is still with us, though now as a project manager and engineer for our transportation group in Phoenix.
In his work designing and managing roadway projects, Chris inspires clients with his vision of what purposeful roadway design can bring to communities—connection. It’s apparent in projects like the Valley Metro Light Rail. Chris believes it’s an eye-opening experience to see the revitalization of neglected areas that are now connected by light rail. It shifts our perspective on what we do and challenges how we can and should provide transit to busy cities.
When he’s not busy guiding cities into connected designs, Chris can be found hiking and exploring, both on foot and on four tires, to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
