Kristie is an electrical designer with concentrated experience in renewable energy and generator design. In her position, she provides analysis of electrical systems, electrical design and engineering services, as well as onsite construction inspections. Kirstie has served as a project engineer for over 750MW in renewable photovoltaic design, was a resident engineer for the installation of a black start diesel generator, 345kV switchyard, and 2MW of carport and rooftop solar.
Over the course of her career, Kristie also has gained experience designing stand-by and emergency generators, lighting design and analysis, fire alarm, security system design, electric vehicle chargers, and battery energy storage systems. Kristie, as the electrical lead, recently worked with Penn State University, in partnership with Lightsource BP, on the largest solar project in the state of Pennsylvania. Completed in 2020, it is expected to provide 25 percent of the university’s electricity, at a savings of over $14 million, over 25 years.
In Kristie’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs and playing at the beach.
