With over a decade of experience in mining, Jaime has managed large-scale infrastructure projects, led multidisciplinary teams, and coordinated tailings management projects. He believes that the key to success is active listening and open communication, and he strives to understand not only the technical specifications but also the client’s environmental and community goals and concerns. His goal? To work on projects that integrate more artificial intelligence technologies to improve their sustainability and efficiency.
Jaime has worked on the sectoral permits for Quebrada Blanca Phase 2 and Project C20 of Collahuasi, and he’s served as project manager in the preparation and processing of environmental and sectoral permits related to environmental impact studies and statements. He’s participated in closure plans and transitions and performed economic evaluations on projects such as Escondida BHP and integrity services at projects like Codelco Andina.
However, when Jaime isn’t pushing his projects to deliver positive impacts on communities and the environment, you’ll probably find him playing tennis or supporting his family and local community. He’s a deeply Catholic person and works hard to be involved in his church’s work.
